I was tired of having to re-caulk around my toilet. This looks so much nicer and seamless with the toilet. I did make diagonal cut around the rounded section so it would lay flat!

I wanted to trim out the base of the toilet without using a tube of caulk. This tape is made of very foldable and stretchy plastic. It is scored down the middle for folding. I wrapped a piece around the base of the toilet, cut it to length, peeled the backing, and installed it. It took less than ten minutes. Once you get a piece glued down you can stretch and tuck it as you make your way around. I smoothed out gaps with my thumb. Super easy. It was harder to bend over the toilet than it was to install this product. If you are trimming out a straight line, say like a bathtub edge, it will be even easier to install. Highly recommended! A+

This product is exactly what you would want it to be. Following the directions and using a hairdryer is a huge tip for making this process easier and for it to stick and not move. I replaced the floor in my half bath. I'm no professional and had a few small gaps by the toilet and vanity. This covered it right up and I'm no longer worried about moisture getting in those cracks and ruining my floor. Installing this around the toilet and vanity took me less than 10 min. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
